Type on Stairs (photo by Eric Cahan)
I love the idea of having this saying on the stairs of a beach house. I don't know how I missed this one the first time around posted on {one of my all time favorite blogs} desire to inspire, but it's worth posting again! (link via ffffound, image via Eric Cahan)

Hello all! Pardon my absence as a huge work project has taken over my life. . .as in about 60 hours of work last week! In addition,various other "real life" things (renovating two bathrooms and possibly moving in the next month) are taking what's left of my hours. Anyhoo, I am alive and hope to be back to some black and white goodness on a more regular schedule in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure I'll be able to pop in here and there in the meantime.

Tivi ::
What a beautiful bracelet. This so goes with every outfit I own.
Tivi's hand silk-screened wood cuffs are formed from ebony, zebrawood or birch. They're finished with a satin lacquer to create a resilient and protective coating. The handwork involved with each of the various prints ensures no two cuffs are exactly alike.Available at Feel More Human. (via notcouture)

apt32 :: Folding Camera Case
A reader suggested I do a post on black & white iPhone cases {which may just come once I've actually purchased one} and in the process of peeking around Etsy this morning I saw this cute little folding camera case.

Second Line Frames
Second Line Frames are constructed from salvaged wood siding after Hurricane Katrina and portion of each sales goes to assist the rehabilitation of affected neighborhoods. A great background behind the name:
The Second Line is a timeless New Orleans tradition – the colorful parade that follows a funeral procession to turn tragedy into a celebration of rebirth.
